We've had a 3-prong extension cord confiscated before, even though it was not a surge protector (surge protectors are not allowed on cruise ships). This one is three-prong, but I like how compact it is and can fit in your carry-on. That way, if there are any issues, you can explain that it's not a surge protector because it would be going through security with you. A tip for making the free coffee taste better is bringing a travel mug like a Tervis, pouring a free packet of hot chocolate in it, and then filling it with coffee. Makes a nice mocha. I always bring these specific motion sickness patches. I don't even know if I would need them anymore, but I never risk it. My first cruise was awful! Wrist bands, ginger, and several other things did not work. Only the patches have worked for me. Doctor-prescribed ones can have awful side effects.
